Let's try editing a few things, such as the colour of your post heading text, and the font used on your site. A few small edits can create a whole new feel to your blog, especially if you create a consistent colour theme throughout the blog.
1. From your main page select the Customise button from the top right corner. You'll find yourself on the Layout tab that allows you edit page elements. Just below the layout tab you'll see the choices to look at Page Elements, Fonts and Colours, Edit HTML and Choose New Template.
Choosing Fonts and Colours will load up the details of your blog's fonts and colours. You'll see a scrollable list of different page elements beside a selection of colours you can use.
2. As an example, scroll down the list of page elements until you find Post Title Colour. Click on it and then select a suitable colour from the colour choices. You can either choose one from the large selection on the right, or play it safe with the smaller selection in the middle that are recommended to match your blog. You will see your changes previewed in the window below the Fonts and Colours editor.
3. Let's also change the font of your blog. Scroll down the page elements list further until you see Text Font. To the right of the Page Elements list you'll now see a small list of fonts, as well as the option to increase or decrease their size or make them bold or italic. The reason there's a small selection of fonts is that the internet can only universally process this set of fonts.
Just click the font you now want to use, for example Trebuchet. You can preview it in the window below the editor.
4. Once you're happy with your changes just click Save Changes to apply the edits to your blog. If you've made a hash of it and want to revert to your original set-up, click Clear Edits.
You can obviously experiment with making other changes at a later time. All you need to do is find your way back to the Fonts and Colours tab and start editing different elements.
