1. At the start of any blogging session, first thing you need to do is find your blog. Type in the blog address in your browser, or create a quick link to it in your bookmarks. Once you're at your blog, click the sign-in button at the top right of the blog page.
2. Once signed in you'll find yourself on the Dashboard for your blog account. From here you can create new blogs and edit old ones, as well as tinker with your Profile etc. To create a new blog post simply click the New Post button in amongst the details of your chosen blog.

You will be brought to a new page called Posting.

3. You'll see three text fields: one for the blog post's title, one for its content, and one at the bottom for 'labels'. We're just starting our new blog so why don't we enter a little welcome message?
First click in the title field and enter the title for this post, for example something like: "Welcome to my Blog!"
Next click on the text field and write a little something about yourself, or the reason behind why you've set up the blog. Alternatively, you could copy and paste text from a Word document or elsewhere.
Finally, why not enter some labels in the label field to try and sum up the content of the post. I'd advise getting in the habit of entering labels with every post, and try and make them consistent with other posts of a similar nature. For example, if you often write about going to the cinema, consider the tag "movies". In the future, when you have multiple posts on that subject, readers will be able to click on that label to read every post you've written about "movies". If you have too many unique labels this won't work, so try not to feature more than one label relating to the same topic. For example don't switch from post to post between "movies", "films" and "cinema" and instead stick to one consistent label.
4. You've written your first post. Now just hit Publish Post at the bottom left of the screen and your blog post will go online!
